I will be exhibiting several of my mixed media sculpted paintings at the Durham Art Guild’s Gallery 100 in Golden Belt at Durham. This show was arranged just yesterday as a substitute for the Andy Worhol exhibit that had been planned. They dropped Andy for me, so second best isn’t bad. There will be an opening reception at 6:00 pm and Carmela and I will be there.
The opening reception is part of Durham’s Third Friday, an evening of art-related events. Several artist have studios at Golden Belt and will be showing their work Friday evening as well. For a full list of events and activities on this Third Friday, visit the third Friday website. For more information on activities at Golden Belt, check out their listing or their own website.
UPDATE: There will be a second reception and artist talk between 5 and 7 pm on February 17th. The talk starts at 6:00 pm.
All and all, a splendid time is guaranteed for all.
