The summer solstice is this weekend (Sunday) and I hope to harvest 3 more cameras I planted at the Sarah P. Duke Gardens last December. The first 3 cameras didn’t fare so well as solargraphs, but instead transformed themselves into rather interesting pinhole chemigraphs. Sometimes you just have to get out of the way of art and let it grow on its own.
Here is one of the early failed solargraph/sucessful chemigraph from this project. I love it and can’t wait to see the others!

I like it, too. Time, humidity, reflections, windy and all weather have left their traces on the surface of this paper negative`s emulsion. Nature reveals itself in the image.
