Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day Workshop Is This Weekend

Just a reminder that this Sunday is Worldwide Pinhole Photography Day. Last year, 3449 pinhole photographers in 70 countries participated in “pinhole day” and uploaded their pinhole photos to the “pinhole day” website. That was the 10th anniversary of this event. I will be conducting a pinhole photography workshop this Saturday at the Durham Arts Council, starting at 10:00 am. No experience in photography is necessary. We’ll make cameras together and you’ll learn how to use a traditional darkroom to make a pinhole camera negative and then the final print. And we’ll have fun doing it! At the end of the workshop, I’ll help you upload your pinhole photo to the pinhole day website and you’ll be part of this international event.

Everything you need will be provided in the workshop.

Workshop details: Durham Arts Council catalog.

Workshop registration: Durham Arts Council registration site.
