The Photographic Image Biennial Exhibition at East Carolina University focuses on “artworks that are derived primarily through light-sensitive materials, including alternative processes, digital, installations, and 3-D work”. The 9th biennial exhibition opens on Thursday, January 22 with a lecture by juror Burk Uzzle and continues through February 20.
This is my 3rd year participating and I will have one piece in the show. My entry, titled “Brick” combines three digital prints and a brick. This is the only photography exhibition I know of that not only accepts 3-D photographic work, but actually encourages it.
